What is measured, and with what
If you accept analytics cookies, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, to count visits and see which pages are read, where visitors come from and what kind of device they use. It helps decide what to write and what to improve on the website.
If you don’t accept, Google Analytics isn’t loaded and this website doesn’t contact Google.
Google signals and ad personalisation are off. This website has no advertising.
Legal basis
Your consent. You can withdraw it at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw it, the analytics cookies are deleted.
Cookies
- cc_cookie: stores your cookie choice. It’s necessary, set by this website, and lasts six months.
- _ga and _ga_*: set by Google Analytics only if you accept. They tell visits and sessions apart. They last thirteen months.
Who receives the data
Google, as the processor for Google Analytics. Google may process data in the United States; those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google is certified.
The website is hosted by OVHcloud in the European Union. Like any server, it keeps technical access logs (IP address, page requested, date) for its operation and security.
How long
Google Analytics data is kept for fourteen months and then deleted.
